BEING SUCCESSFUL
Being successful starts with your commitment to the program! As mentioned, I will depend heavily on the use of technology to do the initial teaching of our lessons. I do not plan to lecture much this year, lectures are boring anyway. Instead, the classroom will be used as a place to practice what you have learned at home or outside of class. In this, I can be free to help you more individually if needed or allow us more time for other activities, discussions or in-depth topic exploration. You will however, need to keep pace with the program!

USING YOUR RESOURCES
You can plan on visiting our course website and doing something for our lessons most every day. RRISD’s online learning resource site eLearn, formally Moodle, will be our homepage for everything Aquatic Science. You are expected to visit it often and it will be my go-to resource to help track your commitment to being successful. The site is accessible from most any computer, including smart phones, tablets and alike. I will post all the resources you will need to be successful to our eLearn course website. Please use it religiously!
